Since it is plastic, it is very easy to clean and can also be used outside and is very light weighing in at only 6 pounds. They fold up for easy storage and don’t need to be assembled which was a big plus with customers! This was reviewed by over 200 people and most loved it but some did note that their pets found the steps too slippery and the unit could be wobbly plus the steps are not very wide.
